Wherever there is the courage to collaborate, the curiosity to learn from one another, and the determination to bring together minds, disciplines, and cultures, you will find us always together with other experts.

We do not simply document the past! We connect it to the future and we do not work alone, we build together to change the world. .

I am very pleased to announce that I will be delivering a Keynote Speech at the Conference on the Conservation of the Architectural Heritage, taking place at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, 8–10 September 2026.

" The Memory Twin Approach to the Documentation, Interpretation, and Conservation of Architectural Heritage"

It is a great honour to contribute to this important conference and to share perspectives on the role of Digital Cultural Heritage, 3D technologies, AI and emerging approaches for documenting, understanding and preserving our architectural heritage.

The convergence of heritage conservation and digital technologies is opening new possibilities, not only to document the past, but also to better understand, protect and transmit it to future generations.

I look forward to meeting colleagues, researchers, architects, conservators and heritage professionals in Turin and to exchanging ideas on the future of architectural heritage conservation.

European Commissioner Costas Kadis visited the Cyprus University of Technology today and was informed about the 🇨🇾⛵️eLambousa project, an initiative that uses digital technologies to document, protect and showcase underwater cultural heritage. In a post on social media, the Commissioner said that “the project highlights the maritime history of our wider region and is a prime example of how innovation can contribute to preserving our collective memory and transferring it to future generations. Protecting the oceans is not only about the natural marine environment. It also concerns the history, culture and traditions that are inextricably linked to the sea. Congratulations to everyone working on this important project.”
