Every year, before the start of a new academic year, we ensure that our key staff members receive the latest first-aid training, equipping them with the knowledge, confidence and skills to respond effectively when it matters most.
This year’s training was conducted by the Chironas School of Safety and Health, helping our staff refresh and strengthen the practical skills needed to act calmly and confidently in an emergency.
A big thank you to the Chironas School of Safety and Health for their guidance, expertise and support in helping us keep our school community prepared and protected.
At the American Academy Secondary School, the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and wider school community remain a top priority, and ongoing training is an important part of maintaining a safe, prepared and supportive environment for everyone.

Before the start of the new academic year, our American Academy Secondary School staff came together for a memorable Staff Away Day with Dorians Challenge in Platres.

As part of our continued investment in staff development, wellbeing and team building, the day provided the perfect opportunity to welcome our new teachers, strengthen existing relationships and build the foundations for another year of great collaboration.

Through a dynamic mix of physical and mental challenges, our staff worked together, supported one another and, most importantly, had plenty of fun along the way! The activities encouraged teamwork, communication and problem-solving, while creating lasting memories and new bonds of friendship.

A fantastic way to begin the academic year as one team, ready to learn, collaborate and grow together.
