Τι συμβαίνει όταν ένα έργο τέχνης παύει να ανήκει μόνο στον καλλιτέχνη και ανοίγεται στον κόσμο;

Η Μαλούντα φιλοξενεί μια ανοιχτή συμμετοχική καλλιτεχνική δράση με τον Mathieu Devavry, όπου το κοινό καλείται να γίνει μέρος της ίδιας της διαδικασίας του έργου.

Λίγο πριν την τελική αποκάλυψη της τοιχογραφίας, ο τοίχος μετατρέπεται σε χώρο έκφρασης, όπου παιδιά, κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες καλούνται να γράψουν, να σχεδιάσουν και να αφήσουν το δικό τους σημάδι μέσα από χρώμα, λέξεις και σύμβολα.

Για τον Mathieu Devavry, η τέχνη του δρόμου δεν αφορά μόνο την τελική εικόνα ενός έργου αλλά και τη δυνατότητα του δημόσιου χώρου να λειτουργήσει ως σημείο συνάντησης, διαλόγου και κοινής εμπειρίας.

Θα υπάρχουν διαθέσιμα υλικά για όλες τις ηλικίες, από child-friendly sprays και πινέλα μέχρι υλικά για πιο ελεύθερες παρεμβάσεις.

What happens when a mural stops belonging only to the artist and opens itself to the public?

Malounta will host an open participatory art intervention by Mathieu Devavry, inviting the public to become part of the work itself.

Before the mural’s final reveal, the wall will transform into a space for expression, where children, residents and visitors are invited to write, draw and leave their mark through colour, words and symbols.

Materials for all ages will be available throughout the day, creating an open environment where everyone can participate in their own way.

The University of Limassol is proud to be part of the FAIR GAME project, an EU-funded project promoting safer, more inclusive, and mentally supportive gaming environments for children.

📍 The project officially started on February 1st, 2026, and partners met in Castellón, Spain (25-26 February 2026) for the kick-off meeting.
During the meeting, partners:

• Set the ground rules for project implementation
• Defined task allocation and roles
• Shared expertise and expectations
• Agreed on the overall approach for the project’s lifetime

🤝 The partnership includes:
