MedDMO’s latest qualitative evaluation focuses on how Meta, Google, and TikTok implement the Code of Practice on Disinformation from January 1st to June 30th, 2023. This in-depth analysis, based on their CoP reports from July 2023, sheds light on the actions taken by these platforms to combat misinformation in Cyprus, Greece, and Malta. The study monitors these platforms' policies, practices, and tools to combat misinformation, and assesses their effectiveness and accessibility to diverse audiences. This is a crucial step in understanding and mitigating the impact of misinformation in these digital ecosystems.
