On Friday 22nd May, our F1 Erasmus+ Cycle class participated in an interactive workshop led by Agni Gregoriou from the Department of Architecture at Frederick University, exploring the connection between urban mobility, well-being and urban design.
During the session, our pupils reflected on their daily journeys to and from school, discussing challenges such as traffic, limited pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, safety concerns and the lack of accessible public spaces. The workshop encouraged them to think critically about how cities shape their everyday lives and how urban environments can become more sustainable, inclusive and youth-friendly.
A wonderful opportunity for our pupils to engage in meaningful discussions about the future of their cities and the importance of youth voice in shaping more sustainable communities.
