I’m happy to share that I’m participating as a thematic expert in the International Youth for Peace Forum Milano–Cortina 2026, taking place at Lake Como from 3–5 February, and organised by Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen and ACLI – Associazioni Cristiane Lavoratori Italiani, within the Gen26 Education Programme of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026.
Within the Forum, I am contributing as an expert to the working group
“The role of social media in spreading hatred and conflict – Youth views on cybersecurity, fake news, and the online fight against political violence”,
with a focus on misinformation, digital manipulation, and the impact of online narratives on conflict and social unrest.
At a time of growing global polarisation, this Forum offers an important space where young people can critically reflect, exchange perspectives, and co-create concrete actions to promote peace, digital responsibility, and social justice—fully aligned with the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This initiative stands at the intersection of sport, education, civic engagement, and youth activism, and is supported by the European Commission within the framework of the hashtag hashtag project.
Grateful to be part of this meaningful dialogue and to support youth voices in shaping a more informed and peaceful digital future.
