Attention international students! Starting from August 15th, 2023, you will need to apply for a double transit visa to study in Northern Cyprus. Here is everything you need to know about the new visa requirements:

1. The double transit visa is only required for newly registered international students. Returning students do not need to apply for a double transit visa.

2. There are 57 countries whose nationals need to apply for a double transit visa. Comment your country and we will tell you if you need a visa.

3. The processing time for double transit visas varies depending on the country of application. It can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks.

4. The most important factor affecting the duration of the double transit visa is the university sending a confirmation email to the embassy from which you are applying. The earlier the confirmation email is sent, the better.

5. Required documents: Vary from countries and if you need to know about your country, contact us at [email protected]

6. The cost of a double transit visa from the Turkish embassy is $60. However, in some countries, students need to submit their documents to a third-party agency accredited by the Turkish authorities. These agencies charge additional service fees on top of the $60 processing fee requested by the Turkish authorities.
