: Not much has changed since previous post. Bloomberg headline today saying: "JPMorgan Says ’s Deleveraging Cycle Won’t Last Much Longer". I noticed another $1Bln reduction in total OI, but I still believe the lack of bids and overhead supply won't help much yet.

I am sorry but what happened to the "traditional" hedge fund model, the likes of PTJ, Louis Bacon, Soros etc.. whose biz model was to HEDGE bets with proper Long/short exposure? these hedgies should just call themselves mutual Long-Only funds instead...

Nice to see and holding their recent lows this weekend. Rather positive overall. Although, keep in mind that so far the ETH rally is mostly fueled by heavy short covering. I'd like to see a PB to $1920-1950 and then some increase in volume and OI.

is trading right into the massive Weekly Price support area. However my OI Vs. Price analysis tells me that we still have roughly $2bln worth of long futures positions opened with an average entry price located between $1700-2300 (approx). IF we don't see any serious cash coming back in NOW at these levels, I'm afraid that we'll start seeing another round of slow from these long holders. Keep in mind that this analysis does not even take into account the spot market, but (I think) it is still quite representative of the overall position of major players. Also, keep in mind that if starts coming under REAL pressure because of the nightmare and the whole controversy, it will accelerate this liquidation process throughout the major crypto platforms out there. So keep an active on eye on it.

About $1 bln of liquidations in futures open positions in the past 24h, BUT a much better place to start building back long positions We re not out he woods yet. Far from it. But a relief rally of 10-20% from last night Lows is very doable.

I reckon that there is still something like $700mln worth of Long Open positions in futures/perps to be squared in order to get back to "equilibrium"/base around $2500
