Requirements:
✅ Permission to work in Cyprus
✅ Degree in Early Childhood Education
✅ 40-hour full-time position
✅ Fluent in English, enabling effective communication and cooperation with our diverse team
✅ Experience working with children aged 2–5 years
✅ If from another country, certificates must be verified by KYSATS
✅ Positive presence: Bring a can-do attitude and a smile to work every day, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our children, staff, and visitors
✅ Love for children: Show genuine enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their growth and happiness

Look no further! Paidikí Goniá Kindergarten, located in Larnaca’s welcoming Drosia neighborhood, is looking for a Teacher Assistant to join our warm and creative team.

🧩 Responsibilities
Support the main teacher in daily classroom activities – assist with lesson preparation, organize materials, and help guide small group or individual learning.

Provide care and supervision – ensure a safe, nurturing, and positive environment during class, playtime, and transitions.

Assist with organization and communication – help maintain a tidy, engaging learning space and support communication with parents and colleagues.

Green fingers welcome! Engage in fun, hands-on activities with the children in our garden and surrounding outdoor areas.

Fluent English – for effective communication with our diverse team and children (multilingual applicants are very welcome!)

The holiday season is close, and we are excited to invite you to our Paidiki Gonia Kindergarden Christmas Market!

✨🎄🌟

Join us for a magical day filled with festive cheer, workshops for children, creative crafts made by our little ones, delicious treats, cute shops for christmas gift shopping and much more!

What to Expect:

❤️ Handmade holiday crafts by our talented children
🌟 Workshops for children of all ages (e.g. Christmas ornaments, gingerbread painting, creating Christmas cards)
❤️ Shopping stands with handmade/local decorations and products (please contact us if you want to participate with a stand)
🌟 Cozy holiday treats and drinks
❤️ Plenty of space to play and chat

August - summer vacation is almost there ☀️😁!!

The groups in August usually are getting smaller since some families are already on holidays 🏝️🏖️
But that didn’t stop us from creating the best time for the remaining children ✨😊

We kicked off the month with a real highlight -
Our gallery walk!
We exhibited many of the artworks that the children have created over the year and invited all parents to marvel at them together with their children.
It was soo heartwarming to see how proud the children were ❤️🥰

🎨 We did also some more art activities during our last weeks and of course lots of water games and cooling activities like ice melting (first picture)🧊💦

☀️ 🌳 We spent a lot of time outside in the garden, however during the hottest time of the day we went inside to either do calming activities or even fun activities like parachute games and more 🪂🤩

Our last day ended so nice with a self made breakfast (Lebanese pancakes 🥞🤤😊) and face painting ❤️🙌

Then we sent our teachers on a well-deserved vacation 😀🙏😎🥳!!

it’s been our second year after re opening Paidikí Goniá and it’s quite emotional to look back on those two years.

A big thank you to everyone who has accompanied us on our journey so far.
We are excited about what the new school year will bring and look forward to continuing to grow and improve 🙌🤩🥰✨
