Proud. That was the first thought I had this morning.
Not just because of last night’s performance, but because of everything Young Stars continues to achieve and nurture.
I’m proud of every milestone our students reach. Proud of their hard work, their discipline, their commitment, and their love of learning. Proud of the passion they have for theatre, dance, and performing. Most of all, I’m proud that we have the privilege of inspiring young people, encouraging them, supporting them, and giving them the confidence to chase their dreams.
Young Stars has always been so much more than a dance school. We are a family. We celebrate each other’s successes, lift one another through the challenges, and grow together. That sense of belonging is the essence of who we are.
I’m also incredibly grateful for my amazing team—Cherry, Sarah, and Eve—and for my wonderful family, whose endless support makes everything we do possible.
I took this photo last night, and it was a moment that truly touched me. Our youngest dancers were watching through the curtain at the side of the stage, completely in awe as they saw our senior girls perform Ophelia. Captivated by the beauty, the emotion, and the magic unfolding before them, they stood silently taking it all in.
In that moment, I thought, this is it, this is what it’s all about inspiring the next generation.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has called, sent messages, and left voice notes today. Your kindness, encouragement, and support mean more than you know.
