Really enjoyed participating at the 47th TESOL Greece conference. Great speakers and talks. Sarah Mercer's plenary talk on compassion in Language education and Kia Karavas ' on teacher well-being were some of the highlights of the conference. Lovely to reconnect with fellow colleagues and friends.

Kagan Cooperative Learning Academy in Las Vegas. This is the second time I am attending one of the Kagan Academies in the USA. Last year, I was one of the two people outside the US to win a Kagan scholarship in Nashville. A valuable professional development opportunity! As a school, we have implemented many of the cooperative learning structures and have witnessed increased student engagement.

We promote a culture of reading books from a very young age. Our kids love reproducing the book characters and writing about them. We use Jolly Readers at our school.
