The Mathematics Career Days will take place on June 1–2, 2026, at ASA, starting at 16:30 on both days. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be served during the events.
On June 1, our graduate programs will be introduced by Prof. Rashad Aliyev. In addition, our assistant Simar Gerçekler will give a presentation about some of our alumni, including the programs from which they graduated and their current professional positions.
On June 2, one of our alumni, Ahmet Bilgen, will deliver a talk. The title of the talk will be announced soon.

From 4:30 to 5 pm on Thursday 21 May 2026, our Department of Mathematics staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neşet Deniz Turgay will deliver a seminar entitled "Higher-Dimensional Fractals with a Modified Clifford Product". He will speak about fractals, the Mandelbrot and Julia sets, and their higher-dimensional versions defined using Clifford algebras, a natural extension of complex numbers, with connections to Catalan numbers. All are welcome to attend the talk in ASG11 (ASA2), and refreshments will be provided.
