After she acquired her Master's degree in Psychology from The University of York (UK), she worked for various education institutions in Cyprus and Turkey as a lecturer. In 2022 she completed the certificate programme of "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" provided by Ankara University, and she has been teaching Turkish to foreigners ever since.
