Role Description
AMEC is seeking an Automotive Mechanics Instructor to join our academic team on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will deliver both classroom and practical workshop training to learners with varying levels of experience. The role involves teaching vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repair procedures, and workshop best practices while ensuring a safe, engaging, and professional learning environment.
Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering practical demonstrations, supervising workshop activities, assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining training materials. The instructor will also work closely with colleagues to ensure training remains aligned with current automotive technologies and industry standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related automotive discipline.
• Strong practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Excellent command of both English and Greek, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage learners of different experience levels.
• Strong commitment to workshop safety, professionalism, and industry best practices.
• Ability to prepare lesson materials and assess learner performance effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience will be considered an advantage.
• Experience delivering practical, workshop-based training.
• Familiarity with modern automotive diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures.

• Employment Type: Contract Basis
• Working Hours: Primarily evening hours (as required)
