A 100% pass rate in Larnaka and particularly strong higher-grade performance in Lefkosia are wonderful achievements. Well done to our Lemesos students, who achieved an 87% overall pass rate, with more than half of their grades at A–B.

In celebration of World DNA Day, we are delighted to share the results of the Pancyprian DNA Essay Competition 2026, an educational initiative organised by Medicover Genetics in collaboration with the Biology Inspectorate of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth.

This year's competition celebrated students' curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for genetics, while highlighting the important role of Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) in modern prenatal healthcare.

Congratulations to our Year 5 IB student, Aikaterini Christofi, on receiving a Commendation Award for her outstanding achievement!

Aikaterini's award-winning essay explored the diagnostic methods and technologies used in modern healthcare, demonstrating exceptional research skills, critical thinking, and a genuine passion for genetics.
