As NBC Nicosia Primary school, we are delighted to share that our students achieved wonderful success in the Koopbank Inter-Primary Schools Essay Competition themed “Peace in the World.”

Asi Solyalı was awarded third place with the essay titled “Peace in the World Now”, while Hayat Akıncı received the Encouragement Award for the essay “Peace for the Future.”

We warmly congratulate our students and teachers Gizem Akmen and Zeynep Nur Yıldırım on this meaningful achievement.

NBC KYRENIA Campus proudly launched PERMA WEEK – Exploring Wellbeing!
Throughout the week, our school was buzzing with excitement, positivity, and teamwork as students took part in a variety of engaging activities.
From teamwork challenges to meaningful wellbeing activities, students had the opportunity to strengthen friendships, support one another, express gratitude, and reflect on the importance of wellbeing in their everyday lives.
The incredible school spirit seen across the campus made the week truly special. Laughter, encouragement, kindness, and collaboration filled every corner of the school, creating an atmosphere of energy, connection, and joy. Students embraced every activity with enthusiasm, demonstrating the true value of teamwork, community, and service, especially during the community service and beach clean-up activities, where students worked together to make a positive difference.
A huge thank you to all staff and students who made PERMA WEEK such a memorable and successful celebration of wellbeing!

NBC celebrates 19th of May Youth and Sports Day.

We are incredibly proud of our NBC athletes for their outstanding achievements at the Türkiye Athletics Youth Girls A Category Championship held in Eskişehir. 🏃‍♀️🏆

A special congratulations to our student athlete Arabella Bradley, who made history by breaking the TRNC record in the 100m hurdles with an incredible time of 14.86 — a record that had remained unbeaten for 9 years. Competing among 24 athletes, she finished the championship as Türkiye’s 5th place athlete, proudly representing both our school and country with determination and excellence.

Arabella also achieved another remarkable success by becoming Türkiye 3rd in the high jump event, once again showcasing her talent, discipline, and fighting spirit on the national stage.

We are also proud to announce that our team finished the championship in 8th place overall — a wonderful achievement for our school. 👏✨

A truly magnificent evening!
NBC Kyrenia Primary pupils stunned the audience with their extraordinary musical performance of ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’. Their acting, dancing and singing skills presented how much hard work and dedication it takes to prepare such a wonderful performance.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, our director - Burcin Özkaya, choreographer - Değer Çelikli Sağır, Music - Söngül Salcı, Props - Su Taşkın and all supporting staff who made this an unforgettable production.
