Ona, our school nurse, led our assembly today on the importance on hydration. She talked about how much we should be drinking, and how vital water is for our bodies 🦩❤️

A huge well done to two our pupils who completed the K1 Triathlon over the weekend. An incredible feat in the heat 🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Y3 have been learning about co-ordinating conjunctions, completing practical sentence building, ensuring they had correctly formed independent clauses with a subject and verb in each sentence. This was then applied with a sentence building relay race 🦩❤

An exciting assembly was held today, where Mrs Brett announced the winners of the Walk to School Week challenge…Turtle class loved standing at the front to accept their award. Well done, Turtle class 🦩❤️

We often welcome children into our school, but today we welcomed our new Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Dearden. She is very excited about working in Akrotiri - keep an eye out for her at pick-up and drop-off 🦩❤

Please find attached a poster for the Cultural Day, which is being celebrated this Wednesday 3 June on the rugby pitches at Akrotiri. The organisers have requested / invited children who have national / traditional / cultural attire to wear this to school on Wednesday.

We appreciate it is short notice but would like to support the organisers where we can and children will be more than welcome to wear their special clothing on Wednesday if they have any. School uniform will be the expectation if you do not have access to national / traditional / cultural attire.
