✨ Alumni in the Spotlight ✨

We’re proud to highlight ISC alumna Anjali Bakmeijer, 🎓.

Anjali attended ISC from K-4 through 12th grade, where she built a strong foundation, developed an international perspective, and gained an appreciation for different cultures, qualities that continue to shape her leadership today.

After studying abroad, she knew she wanted to bring her experience back home. Now, more than two decades into her hospitality career, she leads Sales & Marketing for Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort while also leading the opening and positioning of The Pyrmont Curaçao.

“My journey has come full circle, and I’m proud to be contributing to the future of the island that shaped me.” -Anjali Bakmeijer.

We’re proud to see an ISC alumna bringing her international experience back to Curaçao and contributing to the island’s growing hospitality story.

🎒 Back to School! 🍎

Welcome back, students, teachers, and staff!

As a new school year begins, we’re sending our warmest wishes to everyone returning to the halls, classrooms, and memories that make our school so special.

Time flies. It feels like only yesterday these graduates were First Graders, walking into the classroom with curious minds, big dreams, and endless smiles.

As we celebrate how far they have come, we look back at these special memories and the kind words they shared about their teacher, Mrs. Sara Susanna. Their thoughts captured the impact she had on their lives during those early school years—guiding, encouraging, and inspiring them every step of the way.

Today, those little First Graders are graduates. What a beautiful reminder that while the years pass in the blink of an eye, the memories and lessons from great teachers stay with us forever. ❤️

🌟 Alumni Visit Spotlight 🌟

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Jacqueline, Class of 2025, who visited ISC with her family.

Jacqueline is currently studying Ingeniería en Transformación Digital de Negocios at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. Through this exciting field, she is preparing to become a future expert in helping companies successfully navigate and thrive in the digital era.

It was wonderful to catch up with Jacqueline and hear about her academic journey, achievements, and the progress she is making toward her professional goals. We are proud to see our alumni pursuing their passions and making an impact in the world.

🌊♻️ It is that time of the year where our students are taken to Caracasbaai Beach for a Cleanup Day!

As they help keep one of Curaçao’s beautiful beaches clean, we’re taking a look back at this from 1993. 📸

For decades, students have rolled up their sleeves, filled countless garbage bags, and worked together to care for our island. While the faces may have changed, the spirit of community, environmental responsibility, and island pride remains the same.

💙 Here's to continuing a tradition that has connected generations of students through service and stewardship.

Today, let's celebrate the unforgettable Class of 2002! 🎓✨

It was the year people watched the FIFA World Cup in excitement, Spider-Man became a blockbuster hit, and everyone was singing along to early 2000s music on CDs and MP3 players.

The euro officially became everyday currency in Europe, technology was growing rapidly, and the world was learning how connected it could really be.

Meanwhile, the Class of 2002 was creating memories of its own — school spirit, friendships, laughter in the hallways, and moments that still feel like yesterday. 📸💫
