We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the study and career fair. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, they facilitated the transportation of approximately 2000 students from schools to our fair during the mornings.
The event showcased a diverse range of schools from the Netherlands, the local region, and Curaçao, providing valuable information to assist students in making informed choices about their future studies.

The fair centered around Technology, shedding light on its pivotal role in shaping the future of the island. It was enlightening to explore the possibilities in the tech industry on the island and understand their significance in the jobs of the future.

Furthermore, we express our appreciation to our esteemed partners, including MCB, Cinex, BTP, Dataaxis, the Government of Curaçao, SIMIA, Coca Cola, AFAS, TAO Curaçao, Flow, Servis Frais, MonArt, and everyone else involved, whose support was instrumental in making this fair possible.

I hope this message finds you well. We regret to inform you that, due to an unforeseen power outage that remains unresolved, we have made the decision to postpone today's scheduled panel discussion. The new date for the panel discussion is set for tomorrow, November 15th.

In light of this adjustment, we have also decided to modify the fair schedule for tomorrow. The fair will now run from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and then from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The panel discussion's walk-in period is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

In the Ecology & Marine Biology Sector, our keynote speaker, Lisa Truit, will delve into the exciting realm of PROTEUS™, the pioneering International Space Station of the Ocean. This sustainable habitat and observatory platform, set to be constructed in Curaçao, will serve as a hub for scientists, innovators, and global stakeholders. Lisa will illuminate the job prospects that this innovative project brings to the island.
Following Lisa's presentation, we'll host a dynamic panel discussion featuring key figures such as Randy Brandenburg from Proteus Ocean Group, student representative Chloe Wauben, Innovation Expert Guido Rojer Jr. Together, they will explore the future employment opportunities within this burgeoning sector.
