ArtStudio47 is a process art studio. Process art is way of being creative where the end product is not the main goal.
The 'process' of creating is equally important as a lot can be learned from the gathering, sorting, collating, patterning of materials.

On the evening of December 5th the kids put their shoes near the chimney. The next morning Sinterklaas has passed and the shoes are filled with gifts. If they are really lucky he comes before bedtime on the 5th. Because even with all his helpers it is a long night of hard work so he prefers to start early.

This past week we talked about ‘op art’ and we were inspired by Victor Vasarely. Op art, short for optical art, is a style of visual art that uses optical illusions. ⠀
⠀
Vasarely is widely accepted as the "grandfather" and leader of the ‘Op art’-movement. We looked at his work entitled Zebra, created in the 1930s. By some this is considered to be one of the earliest examples of ‘Op art’.⠀
