Op Curaçao geboren en in 2024 olympisch kampioene geworden: Odile van Aanholt keert terug op het WK na haar zwangerschap, met een nieuw team na een selectie van 80 kandidaten. “Ik vond het spannend om weer in de boot te stappen, maar ik kan het nog en vind het nog steeds leuk.”

Today was our 2nd day of races. During lunch our sailors enjoyed delicious Johnycakes sponsored by E Johnny Cake!!😋

Yesterday we kicked of the Curaçao Youth Championships 2026 with the first day of the clinics ⛵️ followed by today's 2nd day of clinics.

For this year's edition of the C*C, besides sailors from Curaçao 🇨🇼, we also welcomed sailors from:
Aruba🇦🇼
Bonaire🇧🇶
St.Kitts 🇰🇳/ Canada 🇨🇦
USA 🇺🇲

Total of approximately 40 youth sailors and 8 coaches

During these 4 days of clinics, sailors will prepare for the races that will take place from Thursday until Saturday.

Optimist, ISCA (Sunfish) and ILCA (laser) classes

Accompanied by great sailing weather, our own coaches as well as coaches from the Netherlands, and lots of smiles, we had great first and second days of preparation for the upcoming races! ☀️⛵️

With thanks to all parents who took pictures and with thanks to all volunteers and parents who have helped these days!!!

We would like to extend the warmest welcome wishes to the NL coaches who are coming to the island: Bas, Eva en Julia. Also to our Aruba participant, our Canada/St Vincent participant and the 10 sailors from BSSA Bonaire Sailing School Association who are also joining us this year!!

We cannot wait to start!!!

It is that time of the year again!!

Our annual C*C (Curaçao Youth Championships) are happening at the beginning of April and you are invited!!

Young sailors in the Optimist, Sunfish and ILCA categories will be participating at the clinics ( 4 days) and competing at the races (3 days).

Besides local sailors we are also expecting sailors from Bonaire, Aruba, St. Maarten, Netherlands and more......
