At Balance Blended Learning we are currently working on the development of a new educational short film about bullying at school.
After the positive impact of the teen film Heartbreak, created together with Rotary Club Willemstad and Aisvarya Productions, we are now taking the next step: addressing the important topic of bullying among teenagers.
The goal of this project is to create a short film that truly connects with the reality of students in Curaçao. Together with digital learning tools and teacher guidance, the film will help schools start meaningful conversations about bullying, social behavior, and respect in the classroom.
Through this project, we hope to give teachers a practical and inspiring tool to work with their students and raise awareness about the impact bullying can have on individuals and school communities.
The film and educational program will be developed, tested, and eventually shared with secondary schools across Curaçao. We are looking in to different funding options now
We are looking forward to bringing this important project to life together with our partners.

It’s been one month since we moved into our new office, and it felt like a good moment to look back on the first weeks.
In this short time, a lot has already happened. We welcomed more than 70 professionals to watch the Tene Korsou Limpi film together and brainstorm ideas on how it could grow into a blended learning tool for primary schools.
We also said goodbye to our intern Robin on her last official internship day. Luckily, it wasn’t a real goodbye. Because of the pleasant collaboration we’ve had, she’ll continue working with us remotely.
And almost immediately after, we welcomed three new interns to the team. A new chapter with fresh energy, ideas, and creativity.
Our new office is a place where people meet, think, and create together. We are now also exploring how to organize large, lively blended learning 21st-century skills sessions in our new YouMeet space, using a combination of training, film, and digital tools to help professionals develop modern skills.
And this is just the beginning. Many new projects are coming up, with lots of room for creativity and innovation.
Feel free to stop by, enjoy a great cup of coffee and experience our wonderful office yourself

This year, we’re excited to welcome three talented interns to both Balance Blended Learning and GreenKidz.
Each of them brings their own creativity, ideas, and motivation to the team, and they’re all super excited to get started. From designing engaging content to supporting projects that help children learn about sustainability and the island.
It’s great to see young creatives who want to grow, learn, and at the same time make a positive impact on Curaçao.
Curious to see what they’ll be creating over the coming months? Follow along to see their work and the projects they’ll be part of.

Last Saturday, we hosted a special preview screening of the short film Tene Korsou Limpi, sponsored by , and Alex Roose, the initiator of this film, at our new building.
We welcomed over 70 guests from education, government an environmental organizations, and in addition various community partners.
Together, we explored a simple but important question:
How can this film stimulate children and their parents to take better care of our island?
During an open brainstorm session, we discussed how to use this film during events and turn the film into a practical blended learning tool for schools.
The idea is to make the bilingual film accessible and free for primary education across Curaçao, and help teachers to use it in their classrooms by using innovative and interactive digital tools.
It was inspiring to brainstorm with so many professionals from educators to judges and fund representatives and explore so many valuable ideas.
By combining , education, and digital learning, we aim to create an impactful tool for all primary education across Curaçao.
Thank you to everyone who joined and shared their ideas. It really means a lot and helps us move this project forward. Interested in supporting this initiative?

Last month, we came together for an outdoor barbecue with our Balance and GreenKidz creatives and a few close partners.
A moment to relax, talk about the past year, share new ideas, and look ahead to what’s next, surrounded by nature, because sometimes the best conversations happen outside the office.
Together with our growing network of young, creative professionals, we’re working on new blended learning projects, product innovation, and fresh collaborations across the Dutch Caribbean.
Work hard, play hard.
Because in the end, it’s all about balance.
Looking forward to a creative 2026 together.
