Summer Science School 2026 applications extended! 🔬

Petnica is organizing the Summer Science School in English for curious and motivated students from Serbia, the region, Europe, and the world.
The program is open to students currently attending 7th to 9th grade, aged 13 - 15, who are interested in science, research, and learning beyond school.

During the program, students will explore science, work with peers, and experience life at Petnica Science Center in an international environment.

⛰️ Pozivamo sve radoznale učenike da nam se pridruže na projektu „Ekspedicijom kroz lupu nauke“!

Projekat realizuje tim saradnika Istraživačke stanice Petnice uz podršku Centra za promociju nauke, a namenjen je učenicima osmog razreda osnovne škole, kao i učenicima prvog i drugog razreda srednje škole.

🔍Učesnici će imati priliku da se oprobaju u oblastima prirodnih, društvenih i tehničkih nauka uz mentorsku podršku.

📍 U okviru projekta realizuju se dve besplatne ekspedicije!

🗓️ 10. jun 2026. Rtanj
Polazak iz Bora, uz uključivanje učenika iz Zaječara, Knjaževca i Sokobanje.

🗓️ 18. jun 2026. Golija
Polazak iz Kraljeva, uz uključivanje učenika iz Raške i Novog Pazara.

✨Ovo je prava prilika da stekneš nova znanja, upoznaš vršnjake iz drugih gradova i baviš se naukom van učionice!

Petnica International 2026 takes place at Petnica Science Center in Serbia. The camp offers a variety of subjects and gives students the opportunity to explore a range of topics and disciplines.

Its aim is to enable students interested in science to practice scientific research by working on their own research projects under the guidance of Petnica’s associates and assistants. Students also attend lectures and laboratory exercises, experience fieldwork, and get acquainted with scientific methodology and a wide spectrum of research techniques.

Danas su počeli vežbovni seminari! Prvu grupu čine seminari programa kombinovanih nauka, geologije i hidrohemije, biomedicine i društveno-humanističkih nauka.

Petnica is organizing the Summer Science School in English, for all interested students from Serbia, the region, Europe, and the world. Eligible to apply are students currently attending the 7th and 8th grades (13-15 years old) who show interest in additional education, science, and research work, as well as a high degree of independence and personal initiative. Candidates should be ready to separate from their parents and familiar environment, as well as to work and socialize with peers they have not had the opportunity to meet before.

The program will be held from the 28th of June to the 5h of July at Petnica Science Center.

The application for SSS will be open until the 28th of May 2026.
