Dear participants of the Ee2023 conference,
Let me introduce you with the overview program of the 22nd International
Symposium Ee2023.
October 25, 2023, Novi Sad
On the first day, the tutorials are planned to be hold in the
Science and Technology Park building in Novi Sad.
The Science and Technology Park (STP), Novi Sad was
founded by the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina to provide
support to its members, to commercialize innovative products
and services, and implement the development and new
technologies, as quickly as possible. Members of STP Novi Sad
can be any technology company engaged in innovative activities,
startup companies, and startup teams, as well as research and
development institutes.1
More information can be found on the
website.
October 26, 2023, Belgrade (morning)
The Opening session of the symposium will be held in Belgrade in the building of the Serbian Academy
of Sciences and Arts (bus transfer from Novi Sad will be organized).
Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts
Like other national academies and in keeping with its
responsibilities and tasks, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and
Arts (SASA) represents an institution that exhibits a kind of
traditionalism and almost desirable conservativeness. However,
only a tradition that is willing to change following the
requirements of the times and the needs of the environment
wherein it originated stands a chance of continuance – this is the
experience of SASA. For this reason, the attitude towards SASA
needs to be one of respect for its well‐established mechanisms,
built on the experience, wisdom, and shortcomings of its precursors. However, SASA also requires an attitude
that will enable it to observe and recognize crucial moments in time and disruptions in or accelerations of
historical and social events and scientific and artistic trends and to participate, according to its abilities, in
changing the circumstances and practices that may slow down or downplay its activities and roles in this
country at certain times2
You can find more information on the academy's website
In the large hall of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Opening session ceremonial and
celebration of 50 years since the first conference (in 1973) will be held. After the speeches, the scientific part
of the meeting will continue with Key Note lectures by Academician Prof. Ion Boldea, Academician Prof. Leo
Lorenz, Prof. Frede Blaabjerg, and Academician Prof. Slobodan Vukosavić
The morning program will end with lunch, which would end around 14:00h.

October 26, 2023, Belgrade (afternoon)
After the lunch, a visit to the "Nikola Tesla" museum in Belgrade will be organized for all
participants (bus transfer).
"Nikola Tesla" museum in Belgrade,
Permanent Exhibition
Dive into the magical world of Nikola Tesla in the permanent
collection created by dr Branimir Jovanović. See Tesla’s
development as an inventor and as a person through a mix of
modern and authentic technologies from the time of Nikola
Tesla. Meet the outstanding heights he reached as an inventor
and his very intensive approach to life. Our specially trained
guides will present to you the magnificent working models of
Tesla’s machines, his various personal items, and his visions of
the future. Guided tours are held in Serbian and English.3
More
information can be found on the website.
Depending on the time spent in the museum, visits to other sights in Belgrade or in Sremski
Karlovci will be organized.
