Our assistant, Gabor Katona, stayed at the University in Szeged from February 11 to 13, 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program, at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Regulatory Affairs.

We are sharing his impressions:

“This mobility was an extremely valuable professional experience for me and an opportunity to exchange knowledge with colleagues from Szeged. I had the honor of delivering lectures in the field of cosmetic product formulation, with a focus on semi-solid dermocosmetic forms and the treatment of hyperpigmentation. It was particularly meaningful to present the zebrafish (Danio rerio) model as a modern approach in assessing the safety and efficacy of cosmetic products.

In addition to teaching activities, discussions about future cooperation were initiated, which I consider one of the most valuable aspects of the Erasmus+ program. Experiences like this further motivate the improvement of both teaching and research.”

The Erasmus+ program continues to connect institutions and open new opportunities for international cooperation. 🌍

The Dean of FFNS, Prof. Dr. Nataša Jovanović Lješković, participated in the SAM “Intelligence of the Future” Managers’ Forum, where leaders from various sectors discussed how to preserve human values in an era of accelerated technological development.

Through the topic “Innovations That Heal the World,” the Dean highlighted the importance of biotechnology, gene therapies, and digital medicine, as well as the ethical boundaries society must not cross:

“The greatest strength of modern medicine is not only that we can design a drug down to the level of a single gene, but that each person receives therapy tailored specifically for them, with a clear ethical boundary: we do not do everything that is possible, but what is right for humanity.”
