Who am I?

It wasn’t easy to fit nearly two decades of experience into just a few paragraphs, but I’ve tried to give you a simple glimpse into my path. For starters, I’m 42—though I’ll admit, I’m still in a bit of shock every time I see that number written down! :)

Since life is often defined by the small details, here is a little look “behind the scenes”:

⭐️ A commitment to quality: This is my guiding principle in everything, from how I mentor my clients, to how I choose workouts and the food I put into my body. As a Virgo-Taurus, I have a natural penchant for high standards and finer details.

🧠 Fuel for the mind: I don’t watch TV. Instead, I prefer spending my free time with high-quality novels and literature in psychology, sociology, and philosophy, or enjoying a good film or series with my husband.

☕️ Small joys: My day doesn’t truly start without a perfect cappuccino. And when I need a good laugh, nothing beats the Graham Norton Show.

I truly believe that the way we do the small things reflects how we approach the big ones. That is why in my work, just like in my kitchen or my library, there is no room for settling for “just enough.”

Who am I?
My name is Jelena, and I’m from Serbia. I hold a university degree course in English Language and Literature, plus a CELTA certificate (I took a Cambridge course aimed at teachers), plus a course on creating English online courses (organised by the University of Arizona). I love to attend English teacher conferences, where I also take part as a speaker a few times a year.

What else? Oh, yes! I’ve been teaching Cambridge English exam preparation for 15 years, and I’ve personally prepared around 300 students for the exam (like, working with them in the classroom, both online and face-to-face).
All in all, I’ve taught 1000+ students of all ages and levels so far, in the traditional classroom here in Novi Sad (since 2007), and online (since 2020).
Of course, I don’t count all the people who I’ve helped with my newsletter, free webinars, free lessons and with all my work here on IG.

Honestly, I love teaching, it’s my passion and my superpower! I hope I’ll be your teacher one day very soon, too. 💗
