The biggest challenge we have in life is to find a personal path, a personal enthusiasm, a personal vocation. We often wrongly focus on this goal without considering the importance of each step, of each stage, of each instant. Indeed, it is the process that should clear up the end. We often make the mistake to search for ourselves outside us. Equally, we too often trust other people more than how we trust ourselves.
Radicalization occurs easily when people feel lost. It happens when they need answers. It happens when they long for an emotional thrill. In this sense, radicalization turns into an apparent redemption in the way it places itself between the self-research of who to be and who to become. All this could be considered the milestone of the recruitment.
Indeed, the curiosity to go ‘from zero to hero’ and to find a place in this world takes weak people to join radical movements. Radicalization is the missed identity. Potential sympathizes get impressed through symbols and rituals or signs that end up to endorse and to embody in extreme terms.
Thus, radicalization is the product, and radical movements are the brand. It is the way the product is presented that catches audience attention. Building up an alternative reality that is entirely dependent on the physical and psychological annihilation of people is the task of radicalization and of recruitment. Radicalization is the premise to change people’s life. People begin to be radicalized once they emotionally participate to the extremist brainstorming that they find on the internet. The internet complies with a propagandistic purpose.
The communicative strategy passes through radical groups who depict their positions as a mystic choice to make, in order to free both people and the world. It is an extreme lecture of reality. You.. Have your own one! Don’t get chosen. You choose!
