The Parisian atelier La Soufflerie demonstrates how contemporary design can coexist with tradition. Through hand-blown glass made from recycled materials, this atelier not only creates authentic objects but also reinvests all its profits into preserving the craft of hand glassblowing and supporting the master artisans who prevent it from disappearing.

In an era of mass production, La Soufflerie insists on a slow, thoughtful process and values that transcend trends – knowledge, craftsmanship, and long-term sustainability. Their work reminds us that design can play a cultural role and carries a responsibility toward traditional crafts and the communities they originate from.

If you appreciate design, craftsmanship, or simply inspiring stories, this is one of them! ❤️

Donosimo vam novu priču iz nase edicije o studiju YaKUSH ukrajinske umetnice u staklu Marije Yakush.

Materijal — odbačeno i upotrebljeno staklo — Marijin tim prikuplja iz zatvorenih fabrika širom zemlje i pretvara u unikatna, ručno izrađena umetnička dela.

Ovo nije samo dizajn. Ovo je priča o otpornosti, održivosti i stvaralačkoj snazi.

In recent years, glass by the Ukrainian brand YAKUSH has been showcased at some of the world’s most prominent design fairs. Thanks to Maria Yakush, the founder and creative director of the brand, the production of this artistically crafted glass has continued uninterrupted even in the face of the challenges in this country.
Since 2020, YAKUSH has operated according to the highest standards of sustainable development, working exclusively with recycled glass. The material -discarded and previously used glass — is collected by Maria’s team from closed factories across the country and transformed into unique, handcrafted works of art.
