We’re excited to welcome Yash Thakare (Software Engineer at Liferay & Google AI Mentor) to Heapcon 2026. Yash focuses on the engineering realities of building AI systems that survive real-world pressure.

At Heapcon, he’s bypassing the hype to break down what happens when prototypes hit production pipelines.

This session focuses entirely on actual failure modes, like hallucinated tool usage, cost blowups, prompt drift, and poor observability. Yash will share the concrete architecture decisions, guardrails, and evaluation strategies required to stabilize agent behavior in complex workflows.
