The bridge’s flowing, organic design uses concrete in a way that mimics the fluidity of natural forms, pushing the boundaries of material and structural possibilities. Musmeci’s vision was to create a bridge that felt like a natural extension of the landscape, and its thin, curving arches are a testament to his pioneering approach to engineering.

NBC Radio City opened its doors in 1938, as the west coast headquarters for the National Broadcasting Company — long before it became a television network. The Streamline Moderne building, located in Hollywood at the corner of Sunset and Vine, was blue-green in color and trimmed with aluminum strips. To accommodate live radio programs like the Jack Benny Show, four large theatre-studios were constructed, each holding an audience of 300 people.
