Today, our Year 2 classroom transformed into a bustling marketplace! 🛍️✨
From bakeries and bookshops to toy stores, beauty shops and fruit and vegetable stalls, students stepped into the roles of both shopkeepers and customers for a hands-on learning experience.

Through play they practised:
💰 Counting money and giving change
🛒 Making thoughtful purchasing decisions
😊 Using polite communication and customer service skills
🤝 Building confidence through real-life interactions
📚 Applying classroom learning in a fun and meaningful way

At Brook Hill, we believe some of the best learning happens when children can explore, create and experience concepts for themselves. Today was a wonderful example of learning brought to life. 💫

Danas se učionica naših učenika drugog razreda pretvorila u pravi mali market! 🛍️✨
Od pekare i knjižare do prodavnice igračaka, kozmetičkog salona i tezgi sa voćem i povrćem, učenici su imali priliku da se oprobaju u ulozi prodavaca i kupaca kroz zabavno i interaktivno iskustvo učenja.

Kroz igru su vežbali:
💰 Računanje novca i vraćanje kusura
🛒 Donošenje odluka prilikom kupovine
😊 Ljubaznu komunikaciju i ophođenje prema kupcima

Congratulations to Una Simovic on winning bronze at the National School Championship in judo and to Maja Vorgic on winning the U18 tennis tournament organised by Tennis Club HARON.

This weekend, our team attended a professional training at the Centre for Robotics and AI in Education, exploring modern tools and methods that make learning more interactive, engaging and meaningful for children.

Through AI platforms, virtual reality, educational robotics, 3D simulations and digital teaching tools, we continue investing in knowledge that helps us create better learning experiences for our students.

At Brook Hill, staying up to date with innovation is an important part of how we teach, grow and prepare students for the future. ✨

Budućnost obrazovanja počinje nastavnicima koji nikada ne prestaju da uče. 📚

Ovog vikenda naš tim je prisustvovao stručnom usavršavanju u Centru za robotiku i veštačku inteligenciju u obrazovanju, gde smo istraživali savremene alate i metode koje učenje čine interaktivnijim, zanimljivijim i bližim deci.

Kroz AI platforme, virtuelnu realnost, edukativnu robotiku, 3D simulacije i digitalne nastavne alate nastavljamo da ulažemo u znanje koje našim učenicima donosi kvalitetnije iskustvo učenja.

U Brook Hill-u verujemo da je praćenje savremenih tehnologija važan deo obrazovanja koje priprema decu za budućnost. ✨

This week gave students the chance to step outside of their usual routine, think about other people’s experiences and realise how much small actions can matter.

The week ended with a visit to Svratiste, where students brought the supplies collected throughout the week and spent the afternoon together — talking, playing football and laughing together💫

Empathy Week 💛

Ova nedelja dala je učenicima priliku da izađu iz svoje svakodnevice, razmisle o iskustvima drugih i shvate koliko male stvari mogu da naprave razliku.

Nedelja je završena posetom Svratištu, gde su učenici odneli sve što se prikupljalo tokom nedelje i proveli popodne zajedno — kroz razgovor, fudbal i igru💫
