✨Sometimes gratitude cannot be put into words — but the BIS students found a way. Due to an excellent cooperation between our school and the Tehnomanija company. this year the best BIS Secondary students were awarded with laptops and other valuable items by Tehnomanija in recognition of their academic excellence.
As a token of gratitude, our students created promotional posters for Tehnomanija and handed them to their representatives.
😊These posters are a heartfelt thank you created by young people who feel genuinely supported and inspired.

✨We would proudly like to inform you that the BIS Year 7 student Vid Ariel D. has won an International
String Instrument Competition held in Valjevo from 22 to 26.May.

❤️Vid was a Category Winner in the Cello part of the competition, ahead of several national and international students. His total score was 98 out of 100 points. The jury was composed of renowned professors from Serbia and a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.

🤗On Saturday, 16 May, the BIS school community came together for another excellent Spring Charity Bazaar. Despite the rainy day, our school grounds were teeming with participants and visitors. Representatives from various embassies and companies, as well as some of the BIS families and friends of the school, displayed a variety of stalls selling international food, jewellry, cosmetic products, souvenirs, etc.
❤️Throughout the event there was an interesting stage program featuring choirs, solos, Serbian and Irish dances, as well as a karate performance. The peak of the event was the raffle draw with a number of valuable prizes. We are taking this opportunity to thank all our sponsors for their raffle donations. We would also like to thank all the participants and visitors. The proceeds of the Bazaar will go to the foundation of Mrs Tamara Misirlic whose mission is to support the underprivileged individuals and groups within our society.

☀️The BIS Year 1 students have recently had a fantastic educational outing to the Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade. 🌳This garden serves as a "living classroom," providing a perfect environment for all young learners to connect with nature. Our students observed plant life cycles and different ecosystems firsthand which helped them raise their environmental awareness. Everypne had a great leatning experience.

📍On 24 April, parents were invited to an Assembly dedicated to the Primary Achievement Awards. Pupils were awarded certificates for academic excellence, excellent progress and being a good role model.

🏀Last week, the BIS Secondary Girls' Volleyball team took first place in a volleyball tournament held at the International School of Belgrade (ISB).
⛹🏼‍♀️The participants included : International School of Belgrade - 2 volleyball teams, International School Zagreb - 2 volleyball teams and British International School Belgrade - 1 volleyball team.
With great teamwork, determination, and energy on the court, our students proudly won all our matches without dropping a single set!
