On March 21, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day 🍀Children and teachers wore green, danced to Irish music, explored the traditions of the holiday, and made lucky leprechaun protein balls.

On Saturday afternoons, we welcome our teen groups at London Gates 📚

English, Humanities, Science, Art, Drama — all subjects are taught in English. It’s a great opportunity not only to improve your English, but also to experience studying academic subjects in a foreign language.

Our teachers are practicing professionals — scientists, historians, actors — who show how their subject connects to real careers and help teenagers better understand their interests.

On 7 February, we celebrated the Lunar New Year at London Gates — and our usual Saturday classes turned into a little cultural adventure.

We didn’t just “talk about traditions”. We tried them: students learned Chinese numbers, made dumplings, and practiced a few basic martial arts moves.

That’s what we love about our lessons: English isn’t a separate subject. It’s how kids explore the world — through hands-on activities, games, and real-life context.

Celebrating New Year twice? Yes, please. More holidays, more curiosity, more reasons to learn.

A show you can watch endlessly: light and shadow 🔦✨

At our Art class, this mysterious “game” turned into a real performance. First, students designed their own silhouettes — thinking about shape, character, and how a tiny detail can change the whole mood. Then they brought the figures to life and staged short fairy tales.

Sometimes it only takes cardboard, scissors, and a table lamp for a little miracle: a shadow theatre on the wall.

On Saturday, London Gates was filled with festive activities, quests — and even a visit from the Grinch! 🎄

The children wore costumes, decorated gingerbread cookies with icing, and made Christmas ornaments from pine cones.

The highlight came after the lessons, in the inner courtyard, when the Grinch appeared. Parents joined the celebration, singing Christmas songs and dancing in a circle together with their children to help bring the presents back.

It means a lot to us that at celebrations like these, children can share their joy with their parents — and parents can feel like children again, even if just for a little while ❤️

Our Talent Show 🎭

Can you build a LEGO house in just one minute? What about doing acrobatics in front of an audience? Or drawing live on stage?

These are just a few of the talents our students shared at the London Gates Talent Show.

We all have talents. The hard part is often not discovering them — but finding the courage to show them to others. That’s exactly why moments like this matter.

At London Gates, students learn how to present themselves from an early age: how to speak in front of others, explain what they do, and feel confident being seen and heard. It’s a skill that will matter in the future — and one that can be joyful and empowering right now 🎤

The Talent Show was not about being perfect. It was about trying, sharing, and supporting each other. And that’s what learning looks like here ⭐️
