Do you know the difference between videti and gledati?

Here is a quick breakdown to help you choose the right one every time:

➡️Videti (Perfective) = To see.
Use this when you are noticing or perceiving something that enters your field of vision, often without deliberate effort.

🔹Ne vidim ništa bez naočara. (I can’t see anything without glasses.)

➡️Gledati (Imperfective) = To watch / To look at.
Use this when you are actively focusing on something or someone over a period of time.

🔹Gledao sam novi film o Majklu Džeksonu. (I watched a new movie about Michael Jackson.)

Can you fill in the blanks? 😅
Leave your answers in the comments below!✍️

❔Ne ________ te. Gde si?
(I can’t ________ you. Where are you?)
❔Volim da ________ TV uveče.
(I like to ________ TV in the evening.)

What do you know about Serbian traditional houses?

➡️Here are some interesting facts:

🔹They are made from natural materials such as wood, mud, straw, and stone.
🔹They are considered eco-friendly.
🔹They differ between the plains and the mountains because of the different weather conditions.
🔹Today, these houses are preserved in some ethno villages, and one of the most famous is Sirogojno (Zlatibor).

What do you think? Would you spend the night in one of these houses?🤗

You finally learn the meaning of a Serbian word… and then discover it has ANOTHER meaning too?

One fun example is “sto”:
➡️sto = table
➡️sto = hundred

📍Same form, completely different meanings!

Has this ever confused you while learning a language?😅

Our first Serbian Challenge in March was a success — so we decided to do it again! 🥳

This time, we’re opening the A1 Beginner Challenge with two options:

• A1.1 Complete Beginner Course — if you’re starting from zero
• A1.2 Upper Beginner Course — if you already know the basics and want to continue

The idea is simple:

Most people don’t struggle with Serbian because they’re not motivated.
They struggle because it’s hard to stay consistent.

That’s exactly what this challenge is designed for.

For 8 weeks, you’ll follow one of our self-study courses, track your progress, and work toward finishing what you started.

Here’s how it works:

• You purchase your chosen challenge course (A1.1 or A1.2)
• You complete it within 8 weeks
• You record your progress with a before/after video
• You receive a 100% refund of your €299 fee

In other words: if you finish the challenge, you learn Serbian for free.

📍 Start date: May 18
📍 Registration closes: May 17, or earlier if all spots are taken

Available spots:

• A1.1: 15 spots
• A1.2: 12 spots left

This challenge is for learners who are ready to commit, not just “try one more course.”

More details via the link in bio.

Vidimo se 💪
