We are located in the city of Santo Domingo, between the city of Heredia (5 km to the northeast) and San José (8 km to the south). It is one of the best positioned cantons of Costa Rica in relation to the index of human development and housing deficit. It is a town where Costa Rican traditions are preserved. There are artists from many areas: painting, sculpture, engraving, photography, theater, dance and crafts among others. You can also observe architectural jewels from the colonial period, such as the church El Carmen, considered as a relic of architectural, historical and cultural interest, located in the district of San Miguel, the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the Church of the Angels, etc. Both in the city and in its districts, there are hotels, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, commercial premises, bakeries, butchers, pharmacies, gas stations. It is also possible to travel quickly to the cities of San José and Heredia.
