Art Classes for children taught by Katya Lara, a Graphic Designer with a Master's Degree in Education Art wil always come in a form of love.

Everyone is an artist, no matter the culture, beliefs, language or age. This is why I am an art teacher, because I believe in the power of Art and how it can transform children's lives for the better and help them feel more connected and comfortable with themselves.

---

Ever since I became a Mom, I became a Teacher. I was already a graphic designer when I decided to get my Masters Degree in Education. I was not only a teacher, but an ART teacher. I've been increadibly fortunate to have spent my last 24 years teaching students about nature and our world through artistic eyes. After years of visiting Santa Teresa, I have seen it grow, just as it has seen me grow as well. I dreamed of living here and now here I am, enjoying the ocean, the sun and the vast nature that surrounds us. Now as a teacher living permanently here in Santa Teresa, it is my job to teach the younger generations about the natural world, art, science, geography and respect for all the cultures. I truly believe my art classes can help kids fall in love with expression and nature. Hope to see you soon!
