Last June, our lecturers, Dr. Verónica García Castro and M.Ed. Karen Bermúdez Calderón represented our institution at the prestigious International Conference on Specific English Didactics organized by ARDAA in Paris, France. They presented their project ED-3605 “Didáctica específica del inglés y su relación con la neurociencia: un acercamiento desde la formación continua” providing valuable insights to the global academic community.

We are very pleased to invite you the talk “fNIRS in English Teaching" facilitated by our lecturer Verónica García-Castro, Ph.D. It will take place next Thursday March 14th in Ciencias Económicas, room 128. See you there!

On Monday March 4th, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Richard de Blacquiere-Clarkson, from the University of Leeds, UK. During his visit Dr. Blacquiere-Clarkson conducted three presentations:

“Ethics of Educational Research,” wherein he provided valuable insights into the landscape of educational research within academia, highlighting some of the challenges it encounters.

“Pedagogical Models in Curriculum Design,” during which he presented precise models for curriculum design and practical implementation strategies.

Lastly, “AI in English Teaching,” a hybrid lecture that showcased effective methods for integrating artificial intelligence into language classrooms.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Dr. de Blacquiere-Clarkson for generously sharing his experience and expertise in the field of education.
