Yesterday the students at the Jungle School had a day at the river. We offered a blessing, swam, hunted for slime, had a picnic, sang songs, drummed, said goodbye to some beloved visiting students, and overall had a fun-filled and refreshing morning away from the students' daily routine.

At the Jungle School our classes are small, enabling our teachers to build supportive and meaningful connections with our students. This means there is time for tailored instruction, targeted feedback, and opportunities for differentiated learning to meet the individual needs of each child.

The maximum size for primary classes at the Jungle School is 12 students per class and we still have a couple spaces to fill.

En Jungle School nuestras clases son pequeñas, lo que permite a nuestros maestros construir conexiones significativas y de apoyo con nuestros estudiantes. Esto significa que hay tiempo para una instrucción personalizada, comentarios específicos y oportunidades de aprendizaje diferenciado para satisfacer las necesidades individuales de cada niño.

El tamaño máximo para las clases de primaria en Jungle School es de 12 estudiantes por clase y todavía tenemos un par de espacios por llenar.

At the Jungle School, our mission is to hold a loving space that favors the development of children as whole and responsible beings. Throughout our school year, we learn with our minds, hearts, and feet as we tap into our unique potential and innate creativity.

Every year the school and community comes together to put on a play… this year we created a familiar show and brought the Pride Lands to the Jungle. 🐾🐍.

We are looking for experienced Grade and Kindergarten teachers starting in November 2023 until August 2024. We are a small community of international families.

We are looking for team members who are happy to:
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum
- Create both indoors and outdoors learning experiences
- Commit to the children’s growth and development
- Be flexible, resourceful and creative in their teaching

We are located in the jungle, within the context of Pachamama Eco-Village, 30 minutes away from the town of Nosara and 15 minutes away from the beach in San Juanhillo.

Our ideal candidate is native Spanish speaking and fully fluent in English. Classes will be taught in Spanish, and English is required for communication with our international community.

It's nearly show time!!! Our Jungle School kids have been practising hard for their end of term play, The Lion King. So much excitement this morning as costumes go on for the first time. Come and join us this Wednesday (28th June) at 1.30pm in Verde Restaurant, Pachamama Eco Village. There's incredible raffle prizes, delicious cakes, refreshing drinks and a funky pop-up vintage shop. Our Grade 2 students love their weekly pottery class. We're lucky to have a studio with a kiln right next to school. This week they finished their bowls - and they've been eating out of them at breakfast and lunch times. Very happy little people!
