At Instituto de Lengua Española, our Independence Day celebration was a chance to learn Spanish beyond the classroom and experience some of the traditions that make Costa Rican culture so special.

Taller de Cocina — preparing delicious *empanadas de plátano maduro con queso*.
🎨 **Taller de Manualidades** — creating our own *llavero típico* inspired by Costa Rican traditions.
Because learning a language is also about discovering the people, history, food, and traditions behind it.
