Just re-watched this talk by Nic Marks as part of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Change course. There are several takeaways, but perhaps the most important: creating an apocalyptic vision of the future (from the environmental perspective) does not create engagement, it creates fear and flight. Marks encourages the audience to start imagining the future we want - and five simple but proven steps that will help us create it.
