Conversational English Club - Costa Rica

Este club nace con el objetivo de ayudar y apoyar a todas las personas que buscan mejorar su nivel de inglés. Who is Teacher MJ?

Trabajamos de forma colaborativa, en un ambiente ameno y propicio para el desarrollo de habilidades de comunicación en el idioma inglés. Born and raised in Costa Rica, to devoted aquarist and big fan of heavy metal rock music. Teacher MJ's natural passion for teaching started when she was 14 years old, helping the neighbor's kids with homework, and tutoring them in her time off. From that time on, teaching always played a role, no matter how small, in her life. Nevertheless, after high-school she decided to become an System Engineer. She studied for 2 whole years and then realized, it was not the right path for her. She then turned her attention to English Teaching and immediately understood, this was her calling all along. Today, she holds over 10 years of experience in the industry of call centers; she started off in customer service and technical support. Later, she developed skills as a QA analyst, manager and trainer. In addition, she's been teaching kids, teens and her favorite: adult learners since 2015. In 2022, she decided to seek for an opportunity to share her knowledge by creating the: Conversational English Club - Costa Rica. Teacher MJ believes that: a teacher has wasted everybody's time, if they walk out of a classroom without having learned something from their students. These words hold valuable meaning and undeniable truth. Every class is an opportunity to plant a marvelous seed in a student's mind, and in exchange, the teacher receives the reward and satisfaction of making an impact on someone's journey.
