✨ Enrollment Update | Semester 2 Begins August 5 ✨

We’re so grateful for the incredible interest in Life Project Education and for the many families seeking a purpose-driven, bilingual learning environment rooted in curiosity, community, and meaningful learning.

As we prepare to begin Semester 2 on August 5, we currently have a limited number of openings in the following programs:

🌱 Preschool (Ages 3–4): 1 space
🌿 Pre-K (Ages 4.5–5): 2 spaces
🍃 Kindergarten: 1 space
🌳 Grade 1: 2 spaces
🌊 Grades 6–10: 2 spaces available in each grade

If your child is entering one of these grade levels and you’ve been considering Life Project Education, we would love to connect with you! We invite you to reach out to schedule a campus visit or a conversation with our admissions team.

At this time, Grades 2–5 remain fully enrolled. We know this may be disappointing for some families, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and continued interest in our community.

Please know that enrollment can shift throughout the year, and spaces occasionally become available unexpectedly. We also expect to begin conversations about 2027 enrollment in the coming months and would be delighted to keep your family connected as we plan for the year ahead.

The Dreams That Built a School ❤️

In 2017, I began searching for a permanent home for Life Project Education. After 2 years of collaborating with local families in Manuel Antonio, we outgrew my little two-bedroom, one-bath rental house where this journey began. I felt affirmed that I wanted to devote my life to this educational vision, and I knew it was time to find a place where we could anchor our roots and create something lasting and magical together.

As part of that search, I invited my students to imagine their dream school. They drew maps of winding pathways, gardens, gathering spaces, playgrounds, pools, cafés, farms, and magical places to learn. And I carried those drawings with me to every real estate appointment. They were my compass, my guidepost for why I was searching.. not for buildings, not for perfection, but for possibility.

Not for me, but for them.

Never in my wildest imagination did I think those dreams would lead us to Ojochal.. at the time, a sort of off-grid outskirts village known among ex pats as a sleepy French Canadian retirement community with a couple nice restaurants.

And yet, somehow, the children’s visions guided us exactly here. I knew the moment I toured the property; this is it. This is what the kids are calling in. So I said yes.

Now, nearly 12 years after a handful of families and I started our sweet backyard homeschool project in Manuel Antonio, and after 7½ years of gently expanding in Ojochal, Life Project (and Ojochal!) have blossomed beyond anything I could have imagined.

No… we don’t have the heart-shaped pool. 😊 BUT I’d say the spirit of Vivi’s sweet map came true in ways that matter so much more. Looking at this now, I don’t just see a child’s drawing. I see a blueprint for a future she believed was possible long before it existed.

To my original pioneers… my little guides, co-creators, and dreamers…

Thank you for showing us the way.

I hope you always know that your imagination truly matters. That the seeds you plant can become forests. That your ideas can shape real places, real communities, and real lives.

This school has always belonged to the you.

And it always will. ❤️🌱

🌿✨ WONDERCamp 2026 at Life Project Education ✨🌿

Bilingual • Circus Arts • Sacred Geometry • Bamboo Architecture • Nature • Music • Art

This is not your average summer camp.

This July, children ages 6–15 are invited into two weeks of movement, creativity, engineering, performance, imagination, and outdoor adventure in the heart of Ojochal, Costa Rica.

In partnership with Circo Ciencias, campers will:
🎪 Learn circus and flow arts
🌀 Explore sacred geometry through hands-on STEM projects
🎋 Build bamboo forts and geometric structures
🎭 Create collaborative performances
🌎 Practice Spanish through immersive play and teamwork
🌿 Spend their days outdoors creating, moving, and imagining together

Every day blends:
✨ Creativity
✨ Problem-solving
✨ Movement
✨ Engineering
✨ Community
✨ Self-expression

Two Main Age Groups:
🌱 Ages 6–10
🔥 Ages 11–15

We will also offer a Nest Program (ages 3.5–5) for younger siblings.
