“Something essential happens in a vegetable garden. It’s a place where if you can’t say “I love you” out loud you can say it in seeds and the land will reciprocate, in beans.” reminds us of the quiet reciprocity that grows when we’re in right relationship with the Earth.

Plant a garden. Tend a small patch of soil. Even a potted plant. Let it show you how love becomes nourishment, how care becomes connection, and how reciprocity takes root, one seed at a time. 🌱

Every river is a thread in the tapestry of our belonging.
When we learn their names and paths, something inside us reorients toward home.

“Know your watershed. Map your rivers. What are their names, their origin, where do they journey to? Stories flow from there – human and other-than-human. Hold a map of your waterways in your heart and mind. It orients you towards more than just the geographical.”

Spaces like this remind us that how we design our homes can be an act of relationship with the living world, a way of listening to the land rather than imposing on it.

Studies on biophilic design affirm what many of us instinctively feel: being surrounded by natural light, organic forms, earthen materials, and living plants can ease stress, support emotional wellbeing, deepen focus, and even help the body heal more quickly. People in nature-connected spaces tend to feel more balanced, more creative, and more grounded in themselves. When our spaces speak the language of the Earth, something in us remembers how to belong.

We are nature. When we listen and emulate the intelligence of the living world, we thrive.

If this were your dome home for a week, what would you devote yourself to? Share with us in the comments!

As COP30 approaches, may we remember that climate solutions are not found in policy rooms alone, but in the ancestral knowledge of those who have safeguarded Earth’s balance for millennia.

To reforest the planet, we must first reforest our hearts. 🌿

“Territory is more than just the environment, territory is our whole lives. Our body is the territory and the territory is our body. We should be thinking beyond politics, and think about how we can re-enchant the world again. Awaken our senses. The challenge is to reforest our hearts.” - .xakriaba

Despertar nuestros sentidos. El desafío es reforestar nuestros corazones.” .xakriaba

At Tierra Valiente, we farm with the intelligence of the forest. Through regenerative and syntropic systems, we rebuild soil, restore water, and nurture biodiversity. Each layer, from compost to canopy, participates in a living cycle of reciprocity. This is how we grow. 🌱

Special thanks to and from for your knowledge and care for these lands!

The Rhizome Fellowship gathers storytellers, strategists, and cultural practitioners reimagining the systems that shape our world.

Rooted in the Culture Hack Method, the fellowship accompanies participants in designing narrative interventions that dismantle extractive paradigms and seed regenerative futures.

We came together with 40 fellows from 20 organizations across 19 countries— a constellation of practitioners tending the pathways of Regenerative Economies, Restorative Justice, Right Relationship with Land, Healing of Spirit and Earth, and Bioregional Governance.

We listened deeply, shared laughter, tears, strategies, gathered around the fire, made offerings at the Mother Tree, soaked in thermal waters and nurtured the invisible threads that weave us into a larger mycelial network of change.

The Rhizome reminds us that intelligence lives in relationship, that story holds the power to reshape culture, and that every revolution begins quietly, in the unseen vitality of life reorganizing beneath the surface.🌱

“Liberatory love asks us to remember our original instructions, to recall that we are not separate from the web of relationships that sustain all life. It invites us to fall in love with the mycorrhizal networks threading beneath our feet, to court the wind that carries the pollen and the prayers, to enter into intimate reciprocity with the water that flows through our bodies and the watersheds that hold our communities.

This expansive love is not romantic fantasy but practical wisdom. When we love the land as body, as ancestor, as lover, we cannot poison the streams. When we recognize our kinship with the more-than-human world, we understand that our liberation is bound up with the liberation of all beings. The wellness of the soil becomes inseparable from the wellness of our souls.” - Rowen White

Nature is our Temple.

Made of rivers and forests, mountains and stars. Every tree is a pillar, every bird a hymn, every breath of wind a prayer. When we enter with reverence, we remember we already belong.

When we remember we are a part of the interconnected web of life, we tend, protect and restore the living world. In this reciprocity, we return to the sacred balance of life. 🌱

To grieve is to remain tethered to life. It keeps our hearts soft in a time that would otherwise keep them hard. It opens us to kinship, with each other, with the more-than-human world, with the invisible threads that bind all things.

Grief requires a witness. It asks for the circle, the firelight, the song that breaks open our silence. It asks us to gather, to hold each other, to share the weight of what no one can carry alone. It is communal medicine.
And so, let us welcome grief as guide and teacher.

Let it humble us, slow us down, empty us of illusions.
Let it clear space in us for the sacred to return.
This too is part of becoming a planetary people.
When we grieve what we care for and love, we honor it.
When we honor it, we make way for repair.

To grieve is to begin the work of repair. Without grief, there is no true reckoning. And without reckoning, there can be no genuine restoration. Grief is how we metabolize loss and compost heartbreak into care.
Let us walk together into this apprenticeship.

Let us begin again, tender and ready to be guided by our broken hearts.
