Our students school-wide used household items and recycled materials to design and build their own water filtration systems! 🌍♻️ Some were a total success — hello, crystal clear water! 🙌 Others? Still a little murky... but that’s all part of the process. 😅

After testing, students reflected on what worked, what didn’t, and how to improve — turning trial and error into powerful learning. 💡🧠

Exploring the microscopic world! 🔬✨ Our students dove into cellular science by researching cells, building their own double-helix DNA models, and using microscopes to examine onion cells, a fly’s leg, and—most fascinating of all—a teacher’s blood cells! 🧬🦠 Check out the last two slides to see the blood cells in motion!

🦴💡 Learning about the skeletal system is SO much fun! Our bones give us shape, help us move, and protect important organs. Today, we connected science, reading, and art in a creative way! 📚🔬🎨

First, we read about bones and their important jobs. Then, we researched cool facts—did you know you have 206 bones in your body?! Finally, we got hands-on by creating clay models of bones to bring our learning to life! 👐✨

Learning is best when we connect different subjects in a fun and meaningful way! Way to go, 2nd/3rd grade! 🤸‍♂️
