Progress looks different for everyone.
Sometimes it looks like showing up to class.
Sometimes it looks like finishing a book.
Sometimes it looks like speaking up when you’re nervous.

Keep learning.

Keep growing.

Learning Spanish isn’t just about memorizing verbs.
It’s about ordering your coffee with confidence.
It’s about understanding the joke at the dinner table.
It’s about feeling like you belong — not just like you’re visiting. 🌎✨

Our Spanish classes are private, personalized, and fully virtual — but more than that, they’re conversational, human, and built around you.

With a certified native teacher by your side, you’ll practice real conversations in a space where mistakes are part of the process — not something to fear.

If you’re living abroad, traveling often, or building a life in another country, language becomes more than a skill — it becomes connection.

And connection changes everything. 💬💛

I’m so excited to be leading our new Book Club and Conversation Club this season. 💛

Creating spaces where students feel safe to speak, share opinions, ask questions, and really connect is one of my favorite parts of teaching. After 7+ years of working in language education — and navigating life in two languages myself — I know how important it is to have a space where your voice feels welcome.

These clubs are going to be conversation-centered, thoughtful, and relaxed. A place to grow your English, yes — but also to build confidence and community.

I can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones. 🤍

Just Keep Talking. 💬✨

There’s something powerful about reading a story in another language and realizing… I can actually discuss literature in English with confidence.

Our March–April Book Club is a space to read, reflect, and have real conversations about The Circuit by Francisco Jiménez — a moving collection of short stories about growing up as a migrant child in the United States.

This isn’t a lecture.

It’s a discussion.

A space to share perspectives, questions, and connections — all in English.

If you’re low-intermediate or above and ready to participate, we’d love to have you join us. We start on Wednesday 💛

Check the flyer for all the details, and message us if you’re in.

Two of our long-term students gifted this beautiful book — Cuentos de mi Tía Panchita by Carmen Lyra — as a cultural exchange.

After years of spending time in English classes together, they gave their teacher something that represents Costa Rica and helps her continue learning Spanish.

This is what private classes become over time: not just lessons, but relationships.

Reading has always been one of the most powerful (and underrated) ways to grow in a language — and it doesn’t have to be boring. It can be stories, culture, laughter, and shared meaning.

This is the kind of community we believe in. ✨

If what you really need is more speaking practice — this is your space.

Our Conversation Club is designed for students who want to think faster, speak more naturally, and feel more confident expressing their ideas.

Each week brings a new topic, activity, or debate — and a room full of people willing to practice and participate.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing up and speaking.

Open to low-intermediate level and above.

See the flyer for details, and message us if you’d like to join. 💬✨

Not everything translates word for word… and that’s part of the fun. 🌎✨

Some phrases just don’t work literally in another language.
Real fluency isn’t about direct translations — it’s about understanding the idea behind the words.

Translate the meaning, not just the phrase. 💛

We’re starting something special in March — two new spaces to practice, connect, and grow together. 💬📚

📖 Book Club
Wednesdays | 7:00–8:30pm
March 4th – April 29th

We’ll be reading The Circuit by Francisco Jiménez — a collection of short stories about the life of a migrant child in the U.S. in the 1950s.

The reading happens mostly at home, and our class time is for discussion — sharing thoughts, questions, reactions, and different perspectives.

Investment: 25.000 colones ($50) for the full 2-month program.

🗣️ Conversation Club
Mondays | 7:00–8:30pm
Starting March 2nd (ongoing)

Each week we’ll explore a new topic through discussions, activities, and debates — a space to speak, think, and challenge yourself in English.

Free for active students
3.000 colones ($6) per class for new/inactive students
10.000 colones ($20) per month for new/inactive students

Both clubs are open to everyone, but we recommend that you have at least a low-intermediate level or higher — but more than that, they’re for people who are willing to participate, share, and practice.

We’re genuinely excited about these spaces. They’re not just classes — they’re community. 💛

Message us if you’d like more details or want to join.

Language is more than vocabulary — it’s culture, humor, and perspective. 🌎💛

Not everything translates word for word… and that’s the beauty of it.

Some Costa Rican dichos don’t have a literal English version, so instead of translating word for word, we find the expression that communicates the same feeling.

That’s not just language learning — that’s cultural understanding.
Because fluency isn’t about words. It’s about people. ✨
