Man has no individual I. But there are, instead, hundreds and thousands of separate small I's, very often entirely unknown to one another, never coming into contact, or, on the contrary, hostile to each other, mutually exclusive and incompatible ... And each separate small I is able to call itself by the name of the whole, to act in the name of the whole, to agree or disagree, to give promises, to make decisions, with which another I or the whole will have to deal.

An essential tool for accessing the akashic record is to learn an oracle like Tarot, I Ching, or runes. To ask whether you should do certain things etc. this way your guides or higher self can speak with you directly. You can ask everything, talk to your higher self, or different divine non-duality consciousnesses preferably. Talk all day its fun. Its a lifetime endeavor, in 2 or 5 years you'll become so good at it, start hearing all kinds of stuff. Meditation is also the real cornerstone. Chakra meditation is good for beginners and experts alike
