This week we have a variety of Workshops from art to cooking and baking to exercise to building with green materials…..Our littlest ones did a workshop on Van Gogh, the great impressionist artist, and they imitated his style with their own paintings.

Esta semana tenemos una variedad de talleres, desde arte y ejercicio hasta construcción con materiales ecológicos... ¡Nuestros más pequeños hicieron un taller sobre Van Gogh, el gran artista impresionista, e imitaron su estilo con sis propose pinturas!

Nuestra Profe Alex de Musica y de Arte Digital junto con nuestra estudiante de Secundaria Baja, Jimena participaron esta semana en Festival Tennessee Valley Music Festival.
Jimena tocó violín 1, realizó varios conciertos, música de camara y clases maestras con estudiantes de todo EEUU.
Profe Ale se capacitó en instrumentos de cuerda y toqué f***t con la Orquesta de la Facultad.

Our Music and Digital Art teacher, Alex, along with our junior high student, Jimena, participated this week in the Tennessee Valley Music Festival. Jimena played violin, performed several concerts, chamber music, and masterclasses with students from all over the US. Professor Alex received training on string instruments and played bassoon with the Faculty Orchestra. They also visited the NASA museum!

We continue to build educational excellence!
Today, our 11th-grade students—Camila Amoedo, Alison Elías, and Luis Mora—won third place at the InterCAS fair, organized by the IB Compass Foundation and Fidelitas University, with their project, "Viva EcoBuild."

The project proposes collecting and reusing various types of plastic to design and market personal items in a safe and responsible manner, with the aim of funding educational financial programs for the non-profit association Guardavidas de Santa Teresa.

This achievement recognizes the design of an initiative that delivers environmental, social, and economic impact, while also featuring elements of innovation and replicability.

Congratulations to our students for so ably representing our school, our community, and the country's rural areas.

¡Seguimos construyendo la excelencia académica!

El día de hoy, nuestros estudiantes de 11mo grado, Camila Amoedo, Alison Elías y Luis Mora, con su proyecto Viva EcoBuild, obtuvieron el tercer lugar en la feria InterCAS, organizada por la Fundación IB Compass y la Universidad Fidelitas.

El proyecto propone recolectar y reutilizar tipos de plástico para diseñar y comercializar, de manera segura y responsable, artículos personales, con el fin de programas financieros educativos de la asociación sin fines de lucro Guardavidas de Santa Teresa.

Con este resultado, obtiene reconocimiento por el diseño de una iniciativa con impacto ambiental, social y económico, así como con un componente de innovación y replicabilidad.

Felicidades a nuestros chicos que representaron muy bien a nuestro colegio, comunidad y a las zonas rurales del país.
