Hay proyectos en la comunidad donde dos veces a la semana puedes participar ya sea en conservación de tortugas, en áreas sociales con la escuela local o diferentes áreas de instrucción con pescadores o las mujeres de la comunidad. tros tres días son de énfasis gramatical mientras la práctica es hecha en la comunidad. In the PLC we specialize in the teaching of Spanish from your point of interest. The instructors have vast experiences with teaching Spanish classes one on one and in small groups. There are several projects in the comunnity in which you can participate twice during the week in the area of conservation of turtles or in social areas such as with students in the small school nearby, working with fishermen or with women. The other three days you will be practicing conversations with various members of the community using the grammatical structures you are learning in class.

Carlos is an amazing instructor. The shock collar method was surprisingly effective at getting me to pronounce my h and j sounds correctly. Being able to watch stupid whales not surface while admist the frustration of forgetting how to conjugate estar for the 100th time was unforgettable! I would reccomend his classes to anyone!

But in all seriousness:

Carlos was an amazing instructor! His immersive techniques helped me pick up the language much faster than I have in previous classes. His patience and dedication to each students success is a testament to his extensive experience as a language teacher. If you're looking to grow your understanding of a language and immerse yourself, this is the place to go!
