What is Villa Ananda?
It is a holistic school, based on the ASIRI methodology, which in Quechua means: returning the smile to the children. Villa Ananda is learning in the midst of nature being happy. The project was born in a town called TABIO on the outskirts of Bogotá, in COLOMBIA.
The project offers children and families a conscious education, based on interests, motivations and capabilities. In Villa Ananda we bet that children are responsible, their emotions and their vocation. Therefore, we base ourselves on their abilities, which we promote with a positive, constructive education in our main scenario: nature. We are very clear that quality education does not understand social classes, therefore the education offered by Villa Ananda is a bridge that facilitates education for all.

How does the school work?
The College currently operates with 15 children but does not yet have a Financial balance point. We support each other with donations from friends, family and with the contribution of parents who believe, trust and appreciate this dream. In this way, we work as a team with the families that belong to the project through Mingas, support committees and among others.
PEDAGOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF VILLA ANANDA
1. It is based on holistic training, aimed at learning by discovery, through a pedagogy by projects following 14 trades.
2. The difference, skills and rhythm of each child is respected.
3. The Villa Ananda Foundation is based on a recognized vision of integration in a globalized world, remaining in constant learning and improvement.
4. Enables and promotes a meeting policy that allows developing intercultural skills and openness to the world.
5. The encounter with the Muisca language is the main element of intercultural training, as well as the teaching of the English language.
6. The coexistence in the school community is based on mutual respect, sense of responsibility, honesty and the constant search for justice.
7. The guides constantly support the students, which allows excellent academic results.
8. Our training method keeps students active, motivated and committed to their training process.
9. The participation of parents as collaborators in our training role is a condition to be able to successfully fulfill the assumed educational commitment.
10. As part of the process of change we value and carry out constant internal and external evaluations in a quantitative and qualitative way, according to our learning system.
11. Progress is a fundamental part of the development of our quality management and are the basis for implementation processes, both at the infrastructure, academic, pedagogical and personal development levels.
12. Our guides are trained in the Asiri methodology and are continuously trained.
13. In our work we respect the Colombian regulations that concern us. We accompany the students to self-discovery, finding the joy to learn, exploring through action, correcting weaknesses and planning future processes

My mother and I dreamed of a space of Holistic Education for children where the values of love and the consciousness of being were the center. On September 1, 2015, this dream came true, today we are in facilities that are not our own but with a great privilege of nature and the mountains.
When we started the project, our main goal was to generate a project whit Whappiness to learn will be the most important. This became possible when we began to see the intention of many families to initiate and support this dream.
On the other hand, the project has been fed by some volunteers who are enriching the education of children, who have the opportunity to learn about other cultures and learn other languages.
This project aims to be comprehensive since children are constantly supported in their emotions and are helped to re-know the internal potential that we all have to transform our obstacles into great opportunities to grow. Inside they find harmony, love, respect, dialogue, listening, freedom and learning. In this way, we want to instill in children values, in families tools to transform their internal upbringing, so that every time the future of Colombia is healthier, richer in Peace and internal self-regulation.
We teach socio-education workshops where our children are the protagonists and at the end of the year they teach other communities with love; The purpose of these is to generate possible seeds of social change. In addition, we opened an extra-emotional space in the evenings focused on the interests of children and the development of their emotional capacities.
Our desire is to impact the surrounding municipalities and start making a social transformation; all this because Colombia deserves it, our children want it and our Society needs it.
Goals:
Empower children through art as a primary learning tool, generating in them awareness of their abilities, vocations and ideals.
Valuing Nature and all that it offers us as a way of learning.
Work Education in values with conscience and love.
Promote emotional education.
Offer a non-competitive cooperative education.
