10 reasons why I transitioned from solar sales to real estate wholesaling in December 2023

Back story: I’ve been in the solar industry since August 2016, that’s 7 years and 3 months.

I went from a D2D salesman, to sales org owner to installation company owner in Australia, to then giving that all up and going completely remote and selling solar into the US for the last 2.5 years from exotic locations across the world.

I also built a tight community around remote solar sales, built a giant Facebook group, spoke on various stages, made incredible connections, helped hundreds of individuals learn to sell remotely, helped other solar companies launch their remote sales departments and did my very best at every moment to provide value to the solar industry.

At the same time, I lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid commissions, took the hits of the solar coaster and rolled with the punches of a rapidly changing industry.

In November 2023 I felt it was time to explore how I could use the skills I had learnt over the 7+ years into a timeless and wealth building industry; Real estate investing. So together with my business partner, we started C&C Acquisitions.
